What is one of the best things you can do for yourself, for your self-esteem, for your mental health? Give your time and energy to help others who are less fortunate than you. There are so many ways to volunteer: tutoring kids after school, building houses for Habitat, feeding the homeless, teaching adults to read, assisting with disaster relief, and visiting shut-ins. These are just a few of the opportunities.
